The list of eligible participating countries includes Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and Slovenia. Specific mobility types have additional criteria:

• Student Mobility: Open to BA, MA, and PhD students for durations of 3–5 months, primarily for attending courses, earning credits, and potentially completing internships.

• Short-Term Student Mobility: Tailored for final-year BA/MA or PhD students focusing on thesis work, lasting 1–2 months for research, consultations, or lab work.

• Teacher Mobility: Available for university faculty, requiring a minimum of 5 working days with at least 6 hours of teaching or supervision per week.

• Free Mover Mobility: Designed for individuals whose home universities are not part of the CEEPUS network. These applicants must secure a letter of acceptance from a Hungarian host university independently.
