Fellows will receive a generous monthly stipend of €3500, intended to cover essential living expenses throughout the five-month program. Recognizing varying financial needs, additional financial assistance can be requested by fellows originating from low-income countries. Travel support is also a key component: fellows residing outside the Netherlands will be provided with a return air ticket. For those living within Europe, specific allowances apply: individuals within 500 km of Amsterdam will receive reimbursement for one return train ticket, while those 500 km or further will receive an allowance for one return flight ticket. Fellows residing in the Netherlands, within a 90-minute one-way commute from the NIAS campus, will have their daily commuting travel expenses reimbursed, including second-class train tickets. Accommodation is available at subsidized rates, ensuring comfortable living arrangements.
